Kolymbari

Description : Kolymbari (23 km west of Hania) is still relatively unaffected by tourism but not for long anymore.

Atmosphere : A quiet small village nestling between the sea and the cliffs.

Getting there : Frequent bus connections from Chania (Public Bus of Chania)

Restaurants : Several good restaurants either with sea view or inner the village. Shopping : Some shops (small markets and tranditional stores).

Nightlife : There is excellent night life in Platanias village about 10 min distance or in Chania town 20 min distance!

Beach : A long pebble beach which is being artificially augmented by some shipped in sand.

Cultural: Visit the important monastery of Gonia. (photos below)
